Driving Hunger from Greenville County Since 1991
Welcome to Loaves & Fishes, Greenville County, South Carolina’s mobile food rescue organization. We work to provide a solution to hunger and waste in our community. Our method is simple: rescue perishable and prepared food and deliver to organizations that feed the hungry.
In 2009, we rescued and delivered more than 1,000,000 meals worth of food to more than 100 emergency food pantries, soup kitchens, and other human services organizations in Greenville County.
We welcome you to our site and encourage you to get involved in the effort to end hunger and food waste. Start now by getting informed, giving food or giving funds to help keep our mission of “bringing the hungry fresh food daily” going strong.
Once again Mast General Store is helping us with a “Be a Sweetheart, Help the Hungry” campaign. The event runs Saturday, February 11th and Sunday, February 12th. For every pound of barrel candy purchased February 11th and 12th, Mast General will donate $1 to Loaves & Fishes. Mast General Store is located at 101 Main Street in downtown Greenville.
