Loaves & Fishes seeks food donations from restaurants, caterers, grocery
stores, institutions, corporations, churches, wholesalers and distributors.
We can make arrangements to pick up food donations on a scheduled basis or on
a call-in basis, according to the food donor's needs.
All donated food must be handled in accordance with accepted food safety practices.
We prefer, when possible, to receive food that has been stored in a cooler or
a freezer. Loaves & Fishes can supply disposable pans when necessary. We
make every attempt to present the donated food in the same attractive manner it
was presented originally.
Federal and South Carolina Good Samaritan laws protect the food donor, Loaves
& Fishes and the recipient agency provided safe food handling practices are
followed at each step.

We regret we are unable to rescue food from private homes. We may be able to
direct you to one of our recipient agencies that are happy to receive your direct
